  • Moose Lake is located east of the village of Eagle Lake along Haliburton Lake Road in Haliburton County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 09′ Long. 78° 28′
  • the Gull River flows into the lake on the north end and exits into Eagle Lake on the southwest side
  • while the lake reaches depths of 144′, the average depth is 54′
  • access to the lake is from a public boat launch on Eagle Lake which connects to Moose on its southwest side
  • good sized lake trout have been caught during the winter ice fishery
  • there is abundant structure and cover for smallmouth bass
  • Moose Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
