  • Moore Lake is located between Norland and Minden Ontario along Hwy. 35 in Haliburton County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 48′ Long. 78° 48′
  • water enters the lake on the north end from Gull Lake and on the northwest side via Black Creek. It exits via the Gull River on the south end
  • the perimeter of the lake is 11.6 km (7.3 miles)
  • while the maximum depth reaches 72′, the average depth is 24′
  • the lake consists of two basins connected by a narrows on the south end
  • the lake has been regularly stocked with lake trout creating a put and take fishery
  • a public boat launch is located off of Moore Lake Estates Road on the south end of the lake
  • Moore Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
