Lake Facts:
Long Lake is located east of the town of Haliburton off of Hwy. 118
co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 03′ Long. 78° 22′
water enters the lake on the east side coming in from Miskwabi Lake. The Burnt River exits the lake on the southwest side via a dam which regulates water levels
this long and narrow lake has three basins connected by a couple of shallower narrows
maximum depths reach 65′. The average depth is 18′
the perimeter of the lake is 10.5 km (6.6 miles)
the lake has mesotrophic features in that it is moderately fertile and supports a warm water fishery
a public boat launch is located off of Long Lake Road on the southwest end of the lake
Long Lake is situated in Fisheries Management Zone 15
