  • Long Lake is located east of the town of Haliburton off of Hwy. 118
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 03′ Long. 78° 22′
  • water enters the lake on the east side coming in from Miskwabi Lake. The Burnt River exits the lake on the southwest side via a dam which regulates water levels
  • this long and narrow lake has three basins connected by a couple of shallower narrows
  • maximum depths reach 65′. The average depth is 18′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 10.5 km (6.6 miles)
  • the lake has mesotrophic features in that it is moderately fertile and supports a warm water fishery
  • a public boat launch is located off of Long Lake Road on the southwest end of the lake
  • Long Lake is situated in Fisheries Management Zone 15
