• Livingstone Lake is located along County Road 12 (Livingstone Lake Road) northeast of Dorset Ontario in Haliburton County
• co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 21′ 37″ Long. 78° 43′ 09″
• the lake has a perimeter of 8.6 km (5.4 miles)
• while the lake reaches depths of 120′, the average depth is 41′
• water flows out of the lake (to Bear Lake) on the south end via a dam that regulates the water levels
• the lake has a population of naturally reproducing lake trout
• a public boat launch is located at the end of Laurel Drive on the north end of the lake
• major fish species include lake trout, smallmouth bass and yellow perch
• Livingstone Lake is situated in Fisheries Management Zone 15
