  • Koshlong Lake is located south of the town of Haliburton in the southern part of Haliburton County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 58′ 15″ Long. 78° 29′ 08″
  • several streams flow into the lake and water exits via a dam on the south west end of the lake
  • the perimeter of the lake is 11.3 km. (7.1 miles)
  • while the lake reaches maximum depths of 140′, the average depth is 34′
  • large sections of shoreline consist of rock rubble and are littered with submerged logs and overhanging trees. The lake has a number of back bays loaded with rock piles, weedy areas and bass
  • Koshlong Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
