  • Kennisis Lake is a beautiful deep clear cold water Canadian Shield lake.
  • several public boat launches are located on the north side of the lake along North Kennisis Drive. A dam is located on the northwest end of the lake
  • the lake has been stocked with brook trout in recent years
  • smallmouth bass were introduced into the lake in the 1970’s providing an excellent fishery
  • the lake has great fish holding structure for bass and trout including islands, points and lots of underwater humps
