• Kennisis Lake is located north of West Guilford Ontario at the end of Kennisis Lake Road in Haliburton County
• co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 12′ 57″ Long. 78° 38′ 30″
• Kennisis Lake is a beautiful deep clear cold water Canadian Shield lake.
• several public boat launches are located on the north side of the lake along North Kennisis Drive. A dam is located on the northwest end of the lake
• the lake has been stocked with brook trout in recent years
• smallmouth bass were introduced into the lake in the 1970’s providing an excellent fishery
• the lake has great fish holding structure for bass and trout including islands, points and lots of underwater humps
• Kennisis Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 15
