• Kawagama Lake is a large deep cold clear water Canadian Shield lake
• while the average depth is 71′, the maximum depths reach 230′
• the perimeter of the lake is 82.8 km. (51.8 miles)
• the surface area is 2818 hectares (6965 acres)
• the Hollow River exits the lake and flows to Trading Bay (Lake of Bays). There are some brook trout in the river
• major fish species include lake trout, smallmouth bass, whitefish, cisco, and perch
• Kawagama Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
