  • Horseshoe Lake is located along Hwy. 35 north of Minden Ontario in Haliburton County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 59′ 27″ Long. 78° 23′ 46″
  • water flows into the lake from Mountain Lake on the northwest side and exits via the Gull River on the south end at the Horseshoe Lake Dam
  • the lake reaches maximum depths of 75′
  • the east side of the lake adjacent to the causeway is shallow and loaded with cattails, stumps, logs and lilypads providing great habitat for largemouth bass
  • Horseshoe Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
