Lake Facts:
Horseshoe Lake is located along Hwy. 35 north of Minden Ontario in Haliburton County
co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 59′ 27″ Long. 78° 23′ 46″
water flows into the lake from Mountain Lake on the northwest side and exits via the Gull River on the south end at the Horseshoe Lake Dam
the lake reaches maximum depths of 75′
the east side of the lake adjacent to the causeway is shallow and loaded with cattails, stumps, logs and lilypads providing great habitat for largemouth bass
Horseshoe Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
