• the Gull River enters the lake on the east side and exits at Fort Irwin. There are at least 9 other streams flowing into the lake
• the lake contains 3 large islands with rocky perimeters
• the perimeter of the lake is 30 km. (18.7 miles)
• Haliburton Lake reaches maximum depths of 180′. The average depth is 57′
• while not your average size, 20lb+ lake trout have been caught in the lake
• Haliburton Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
