  • Deer Lake is located on the east side of Hwy 648 south of Highland Grove Ontario in Haliburton County
  • co-ordinates: Lat.45° 02′ 13″ Long. 78° 05′ 42″
  • the lake reaches maximum depths of 60’+. It developes a distinct thermocline in the summer and turns over in the fall
  • this cottage lake has a surface area of 468 acres
  • the inshore waters have sections containing stumps and logs, stretches of rubble shoreline, points, reeds and lily pads in the shallows all of which provide good habitat for both bass species

  • a public boat launch is located off of Deer Lake Road on the southeast side of the lake
