  • for the smallmouth bass angler, the lake has a variety of structure that attracts these fish. Shoreline points, shoals, rock piles, rubble shorelines, drop offs and reedy areas in the shallows are all worth a try
  • the lake has a naturally reproducing population of lake trout but fishing pressure over the years has resulted in a shortened season
  • a public boat launch is located off of Davis Lake Road on the east side of the lake
