  • Bob Lake is located just west of Minden Ontario in Haliburton County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 54′ 55″ Long. 78° 47′ 19″
  • Bob Creek flows into the lake on the north end. A dam on the southwest side regulates the lake’s water level. The creek flows south over the dam into Little Bob Lake
  • while the lake reaches maximum depths of 210′, the average depth is 59′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 15.6 km (9.8 miles)
  • the lake contains a population of naturally reproducing lake trout
  • main lake shoals and humps hold both lake trout (in slightly deeper water depending on the season) and smallmouth bass
  • major fish species include smallmouth bass, lake trout, cisco and yellow perch
  • Bob Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
