Thanet Lake is located off of Steenburg Lake Road south of the village Coe Hill in Hastings County

the lake reaches maximum depths of 80’+
the perimeter of the lake is 10.1 km (6.3 miles)
this cottage lake is tree lined and there are submerged logs as well as weeds and lily pads which provide good cover for largemouth bass in the shallows
there is a naturally reproducing population of lake trout
there are no public boat launches on the lake
Thanet Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
