Rathbun Lake is located west of Apsley Ontario (on the west side of Hwy. 28 and just north of Anstruther Lake) in Peterborough County
co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 47′ Long. 78° 12′
Rathbun Lake is situated inside the Kawartha Highlands Park. A number of creeks and streams flow into Rathbun and one exits the south end flowing into Anstruther Lake
the lake reaches maximum depths of 120’+
Rathbun has a variety of structure including islands, steep and gradual drop offs, underwater humps, rocky shorelines and shoals utilized by the major fish species
Rathbun Lake has been regularly stocked with Lake Trout
Rathbun Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
