• Rathbun Lake is located west of Apsley Ontario (on the west side of Hwy. 28 and just north of Anstruther Lake) in Peterborough County
• co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 47′ Long. 78° 12′
• Rathbun Lake is situated inside the Kawartha Highlands Park. A number of creeks and streams flow into Rathbun and one exits the south end flowing into Anstruther Lake
• the lake reaches maximum depths of 120’+
• Rathbun has a variety of structure including islands, steep and gradual drop offs, underwater humps, rocky shorelines and shoals utilized by the major fish species
• Rathbun Lake has been regularly stocked with Lake Trout
• Rathbun Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
