• Cooper Lake is located northwest of Apsley inside the boundaries of the Kawartha Highlands Park. Access is by means of a portage from Rathbun Lake via Anstruther Creek. The starting point
• is the public access on Anstruther Lake
• co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 47′ Long. 78° 10′
• the lake is shallow and weedy and favours a warm water fishery
• there are several public campsites on the lake
• the perimeter of the lake is 6.7 km (4.2 miles)
• while the lake reaches depth of 19′, the average depth is 7′
• Copper Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
