  • Benoir Lake is located north of Harcourt Ontario along County Road 10 (Elephant Lake Road) in Haliburton County

  • Benoir is part of a tri-lakes system which also includes Baptiste and Elephant Lake
  • the York River enters the lake on the north end and exits the south on its way to Elephant Lake.
  • The lake consists of several basins connected by short narrows
  • maximum depths reach 60′
  • the shorelines are littered with submerged logs and stumps with lily pad and weed beds in the shallows
  • a public boat launch can be accessed on the north end of the lake off of County Road 10
