Bay Lake is located south of Bancroft Ontario on the west side of Hwy. 62 along Bay Lake Road in Hastings County
co-ordinates: Lat 45° 01′ Long. 77° 51′
a public concrete boat launch is located off of Bay Lake Road. You will have to boat back underneath a culvert (below Bay Lake Road) to get back into the main lake
this cottage lake reaches maximum depth of 71′
due to its depth the lake developes a distinct thermocline in the summer and turns over in the fall
aside from cottage docks, the inshore zone has rock rubble areas, submerged logs and stumps with reeds and arrowheads in the shallows
Bay Lake is located within the boundaries of Fisheries Management Zone 15
