  • White Lake, also known as Dummer Lake, is located along County Road 6 on the south side of Stoney Lake in Peterborough County
  • co-ordinates: Lat 44° 32′ Long. 78° 06′
  • the Indian River flows into the lake on the north end (from Stoney Lake) and exits the lake on the south end
  • this single basin lake reaches maximum depths of 30’+
  • the perimeter of the lake is 7.7 km (4.8 miles)
  • White Lake is similiar to some other lakes in the Kawartha District in that it is quite fertile (high in nutrient content). There are a number of small islands and rock piles in the north end as well as extensive lily pad beds in the shallows
  • White Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 17
