  • the lake is long and narrow with an irregular (often rocky) shoreline. There
  • are many bays with weed beds in the shallower sections
  • the lake reaches depths of 75′
  • the Gull River enters the lake on the north end and exits the south end flowing into Silver lake
  • there is a good concrete public boat launch at the north end of the lake off of Government Dock Road
  • major fish species include large and smallmouth bass, muskie, walleye and perch
  • the lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 17
