Seymour Lake is located south of Havelock at the village of Trent River Ontario in Northumberland County
the lake is a widening of the Trent Severn Waterway. The navigation channel areas reach up to 30’+ deep. The average depth is around 7′. Most of the lake is quite shallow with submerged logs and stumps, lily pad beds, weed beds and cat tail banks everywhere – perfect locations for largemouth bass
the deeper weed beds along the channel as well as rocky points are home to walleye, muskie and bass
a well maintained public boat launch is located at Monument Park in the village of Trent River
Seymour Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 17
