  • surface area: 257 hectares (635 acres)
  • water enters the lake from Lower Buckhorn Lake via the dams on the west side and exits via the Trent Severn Dam on the east side and flows into Stoney Lake
  • there is a wide variety of cover and structure including extensive weed flats in shallower water, submerged logs, treed and rocky shorelines, shoals, points, islands, channels, drop offs, bays and back bays
    access into Stoney Lake is via Lock 28
  • public boat launch and parking: Parks Canada at Lock 28
    sanctuary areas extend 100 metres downstream from the Lovesick dams
