  • Dalrymple Lake is located east of Orillia Ontario in Carden Township City of Kawartha Lakes
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 38′ 50″ Long. 79° 06′ 31″
  • this spring fed lake consists of two distinct basins connected by a small narrows. It is the source lake for the Head River. The south basin (Upper Dalrymple) is quite weedy and shallow with a few holes reaching 10′. The north basin (Lower Dalrymple) is deeper with depths reaching 34′ and the structure has some rock and shoal areas as well as weed beds. Avery Point almost bisects the north basin. The Head River exits the lake on the north end
  • a public boat launch is located at the narrows
