Bottle Lake is situated within the Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park at the southern end of the Canadian Shield
the lake reaches depths of 72’+
the perimeter is 10.5 km (6.6 miles)
fishing for smallmouth bass is quite productive along the lake’s rocky shoreline and around the 2 islands.
Points and drop offs are productive as well
a naturally reproducing lake trout fishery has dropped off over the years resulting in the introduction of a sanctuary period
