Lake Facts:
Beaver Lake is located within the Kawartha Highlands Park east of Hwy. 507 in the northern portion of Peterborough County
co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 45′ Long. 78° 17′
the lake is connected to Gold Lake to the south and Catchacoma Lake to the west. Water levels are regulated by means of a dam on the south end of Mississagua Lake. A draw down occurs in the fall. Care should be taken when venturing into the narrows connecting to Gold and Catchacoma Lake
while the lake reaches maximum depths of 60′, the average depth is 21′ the perimeter of the lake is 10.7 km (6.7 miles)
a public boat launch is located at the second bridge along Beaver Lake Road
Beaver Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
