Wellers Bay is located in Prince Edward County south of Trenton Ontario near the Bay of Quinte
the bay is connected to Lake Ontario via 2 shallow sandy channels one of which is regularly dredged. A sand bank/beach separates the bay from Lake Ontario
Consecon Creek enters the bay on the east end
it is approx. 8 km. long and surrounded by farmland and residences
the bay’s bottom is composed primarily of sand and mud. The average depth is 2.8 metres (9′)
there are lots of weed beds along the shoreline
Wellers Bay is situated in Fisheries Management Zone 20
