• Smoke Lake is located on the south side of Hwy. 60 approx. 14 km from the Algonquin Provincial Park western gate
• co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 30′ 55″ Long. 78° 40′ 52″
• there is a public access point on the north side of the lake off of Hwy. 60
• while the lake reaches depths of 180′, the average depth is 53′
• the perimeter of the lake is 38.4 km (24 miles)
• the surface area of the lake is 607 hectares (1,500 acres)
• the major fish species include lake trout, smallmouth bass, whitefish and yellow perch
• Smoke Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
