Lake Facts:
Wolfe Lake is located on the north side of County Road 8 (Westport Road) 10 km. west of Westport Ontario. The lake straddles the Frontenac County and the County of Leeds and Grenville boundary
co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 40′ 57″ Long. 76° 28′ 42″
while the lake reaches maximum depths of 102′, the average depth is 34′
the surface area of the lake is 954 hectares (2,358 acres)
the perimeter of the lake is approx. 30 km (18.7 miles)
smallmouth bass and walleye can be found along the rock rubble shorelines, points, humps and shoals. The walleye population has declined over the years.
Fish the shallower bays for largemouth bass and pike. Look for larger pike hanging around the deeper humps and shoreline dropoffs in the warmer summer months
a public boat launch is located beside the causeway at the south end of the lake along County Road 8
the major fish species include northern pike, large and smallmouth bass, walleye, yellow perch and whitefish
