Lake Facts:

• White Lake is located southwest of Arnprior Ontario in Lanark County
• co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 17′ 53″ Long. 76° 31′ 07″
• this long narrow lake has several large bays along the east side. The northern most (Hayes Bay) is the shallowest with a lot of weed growth. Pickerel and Three Mile Bay have deeper water with weedy areas as well. These bays along with the lake’s north end favour largemouth bass, pike and panfish
• while the main lake reaches maximum depths of 30′, the average depth is 10′
• the surface area of the lake is 2,356 hectares (5,819 acres)
• besides extensive weed growth, the lake also has a number of islands, points, shoals, rock piles and underwater humps, quick and gradually tapering drop offs. Fish these areas for smallmouth bass and walleye. Deep weed lines will hold all the major fish species
• there are a couple of public boat launches on the lake. One is located on the north end at the Waba Cottage Museum in the village of White Lake. The other boat launch is on the southwest end of the lake off of Wabalac Side Road. There are several private marinas offering good launching facilities for a small fee
• White Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 18
