Lake Facts:
Upper Rock Lake is located along Opinicon Lake Road southwest of Chaffeys Lock in Frontenac County
5 creeks flow into the lake and one exits on the northeast end connecting to Upper Rock Lake
the lake reaches maximum depth of 140’+
other than a couple of shallow weedy bays in the south end and one on the north end, the shoreline drops off quickly into deep water on either side of the lake
there are many overhanging trees and submerged logs along the shoreline
the lake has been stocked with splake (a cross between lake and brook trout)
a gravel based public boat launch is located along Opinicon Lake Road towards the north end of the lake
Upper Rock Lake sits within Fisheries Management Zone 18
