  • Temperance Lake is located off of County Road 5 west of Brockville Ontario in Leeds and Grenville County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 35′ 27″ Long. 75° 52′ 50″
  • Temperance Lake is a warm shallow eutrophic lake that favours a warm water fishery
  • the lake is part of the Cataraqui Region watershed. Water flows out of the lake via a dam on the northeast end and flows to Centre Lake. The Cataraqui Conservation Authority regulates the water levels
  • while the lake reaches depths of 15′, the average depth is approx. 8′
  • the lake has a perimeter of 11.6 km (7.2 miles)
  • weedbeds, lilypad beds, undercut banks, bulrush and cattail reeds are found throughout the lake providing good cover for fish
  • a public boat launch is located along Temperance Lake Road on the northwest side of the lake
  • Temperance Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 18
