Temperance Lake is located off of County Road 5 west of Brockville Ontario in Leeds and Grenville County
co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 35′ 27″ Long. 75° 52′ 50″
Temperance Lake is a warm shallow eutrophic lake that favours a warm water fishery
the lake is part of the Cataraqui Region watershed. Water flows out of the lake via a dam on the northeast end and flows to Centre Lake. The Cataraqui Conservation Authority regulates the water levels
while the lake reaches depths of 15′, the average depth is approx. 8′
the lake has a perimeter of 11.6 km (7.2 miles)
weedbeds, lilypad beds, undercut banks, bulrush and cattail reeds are found throughout the lake providing good cover for fish
a public boat launch is located along Temperance Lake Road on the northwest side of the lake
Temperance Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 18
