Lake Facts:

  • Otty Lake is located along County Road 21 (Elmgrove Road) southwest of the town of Perth Ontario in Lanark County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 50′ 29″ Long. 76° 13′ 37″
  • the lake is moderately fertile (mesotrophic) and sustains a warm water fishery including northern pike, large and smallmouth bass, black crappie and yellow perch
  • while the lake reaches maximum depths of 90′, the average depth is 30′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 35.2 km (22 miles)
  • the surface area is 625 hectares (1,545 acres)
  • Otty has a few private resorts but is primarily a cottage lake. Focus on the shallower areas for largemouth bass and pike. The island clusters are good smallmouth bass and larger pike areas as are the points, humps and shoals
  • Otty Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 18
