  • this Canadian Shield Lake consists of several basins and is the headwaters for the Millhaven Creek system. Most of the heavily wooded shoreline drops off quickly to deeper water. There are stretches of rubble shoreline with submerged logs in the near shore areas. There are several shallow weedy water bays as well
  • while the lake reaches depths of 202′, the average depth is 71.8′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 16.8 km (10.5 miles)
  • the surface area is 199 hectares (492 acres)
  • the Gould Lake Conservation Area surrounds most of the lake
