  • while the lake reaches depths of 70′, the average depth is 27′
  • the surface area is 173 hectares (427 acres)
  • the lake has a few shallow weedy bays suitable for largemouth bass. Smallmouth bass can be found around the lake’s points, islands, shoals and underwater humps
  • the lake has been stocked with splake and these fish can be caught around the underwater humps and adjacent deeper waters during the ice fishing season
  • Farren Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 18
