  • Christie Lake is located along County Road 6 (Althorpe Road) southwest of Perth Ontario in Lanark County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 48′ 16″ Long. 76° 26′ 19″
  • the Tay River enters the lake at the southwest end and exits at the northeast (on its way to Perth and eventually Lower Rideau Lake)
  • while the lake reaches depths of 60′, the average depth is 28′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 27 km (17 miles)
  • the surface area is 646.2 hectares (1,596 acres)
  • the lake is moderately fertile in nutrient content and favours a warm water fishery
  • there is a spring sanctuary area on a portion of the Tay River and lake
  • Christie Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 18
