Lake Facts:
Bob’s Lake (Southwest) is located approx. 17 km south of Hwy. 7 and 5 km east of Hwy. 38 in Frontenac County
co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 40′ 52″ Long. 76° 35′ 16″
while the southwest section of the lake reaches depths of 84′, the average depth is 32′
the perimeter of this section is 64.8 km (40.5 miles)
the surface area is 1,550 hectares (3,830 acres)
this section of the lake consists of 4 basins connected by several narrows. These narrows as well as underwater humps will hold walleye
lake trout have been restocked in recent years. Your best chance to catch these fish is at the opening of the season. Try the deeper waters adjacent to points, islands, underwater humps and shoals. You will have to fish deeper during the summer as the water warms
there is a lot of good rocky structure (from rubble shorelines to underwater humps, shoals and points) that holds smallmouth bass
there are a few shallow weedy back bays that can be targeted for largemouth bass and pike
