  • Big Crosby Lake is located at the end of Big Crosby Lake Road north of Westport Ontario in Leeds Grenville County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 45′ 12″ Long. 76° 26′ 09″
  • while the lake reaches maximum depths of 55′, the average depth is 29′
  • the surface area of the lake is 263.5 hectares (651 (acres)
  • there are a number of underwater humps in the lake that provide good fish holding structure. Vegetation and submerged wood in the shallows provides good cover for bass and pike. The edges (shallow and deep) of milfoil beds are home to all the major fish species
  • there are no public boat launches on the lake. You will either require permission from a property owner or launch a canoe where a road allowance runs next to the lake
  • Big Crosby Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 18
