  • Sheldrake Lake is located along Hughes Landing Road west of Cloyne Ontario in Lennox Addington County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 49′ Long. 77° 16′
  • Sheldrake Lake (along with Skootamatta and Pringle Lake) is part of the Moira River watershed
  • the main outlet exits the lake on the east side and flows into Skootamatta Lake
  • the lake is quite shallow with an average depth of 4.5′. The deepest area is 15′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 12.5 km (7.8 miles)
  • the surface area is 185 hectares (457 acres)
  • the lake is loaded with excellent pike and bass holding cover including lily pad beds, weed beds, submerged logs and stumps. Look for walleye and smallmouth in the deeper areas around points and shoals
  • a public access point is located along Hughes Landing Road near the bridge that crosses the outlet connecting to Skootamatta Lake
  • Sheldrake Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 18
