Lake Facts:
Shabomeka Lake (also known as Buck Lake) is located along Shabomeka Lake Road northeast of the village of Cloyne in Frontenac County
co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 53′ 33″ Long. 77° 08′ 09″
8 streams flow into the lake. Kishkebus Lake (located within Bon Echo Park) flows into the lake via a narrows on the northwest side. Water exits the lake via a dam on the south west side
the perimeter of the lake is13.6 km (8.5 miles)
while the lake reaches depths of 105′, the average depth is 40′
lake trout have been regularly stocked
there are lots of submerged logs along the rubble shorelines providing good cover for bass
points, underwater humps and shoals are home to smallmouth bass. The deeper waters adjacent to this type of structure will hold lake trout
a sand gravel based public boat launch is located off of Higgins Lake on the south end of the lake
Shabomeka Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 18
