  • Kennebec Lake is located near Arden Ontario on the north side of Hwy. 7 in Frontenac County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 42′ 25″ Long. 76° 57′ 55″
  • this long narrow lake consists of two basins divided by the bridge along Henderson Road
  • while the lake reaches maximum depths of 100′, the average depth is 26′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 30.4 km (19 miles)
  • much of the shoreline is composed of rocky rubble and drops off quickly into deeper water
  • the shallower weedy bays especially on the southwest end favour largemouth bass and pike
  • the Salmon River exits the lake on the southwest side
  • a concrete public boat launch is located adjacent to the bridge which divides the lake
  • Kennebec Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 18
