Effingham Lake is located on the west side of Hwy. 41 north of Bon Echo Provincial Park in Addington Lennox County
co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 59′ 06″ Long. 77° 21′ 36″
the lake consists of 2 basins connected by a narrows. The northern basin is quite shallow and reaches depths of 20’+. The deeper southern basin reaches depths of 70’+
the lake connects to Weslemkoon Lake via portages on the north end
the shallows of the lake contains various forms of weed growth and wood.
The lake has a variety of fish holding structure including points, rubble shorelines, drop offs, shoals, under water humps and islands
