  • East Lake is located south of Bloomfield, Ontario in Prince Edward County
  • co-ordinates: Lat: 43° 55′ 16″ Long. 77° 11′ 52″
  • the lake has eutrophic features: shallow, high in nutrient content with warm water
  • the Outlet River flows into Lake Ontario from the south end
  • the deepest areas of the lake are found in the northeast end of the lake (15′ +)
  • shoreline cover varies from weed to cat tail to rock rubble. The south end has extensive weed beds
  • a public boat launch is located at the Lions Club Park at Cherry Valley on
  • the north end of the lake. Another is located on the south end at the mouth of the Outlet River
  • the lake is located within the boundaries of Fisheries Management Zone 20
