  • Buckshot Lake is located along Buckshot Lake Road northwest of the village of Plevna Ontario in Frontenac County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 59′ 44″ Long. 77° 04′ 10″
  • Buckshot Creek flows into the lake on the south end and exits the northwest side.
  • this spring fed lake reaches maximum depths of 110′. The average depth is 32′
  • the perimeter of the lake is approx. 19 km (11.9 miles)
  • the lake used to have a very good lake trout fishery but it has dropped off over the years. A slot size has been introduced
  • while there is a small population of walleye, the lake is best known for its bass fishery
  • a public boat launch is located off of North Shore Road
  • Buckshot Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 18
