  • Brule Lake is located along Brule Lake Road north of the village of Plevna Ontario in Frontenac County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 03′ 03″ Long. 77° 02′ 54″
  • this spring fed lake is connected to Lucky Lake on the east side and Fortune Lake on the north
  • the lake consists of basins on the north and south ends connected by a long deep narrows
  • while the lake reaches depths of 185′, the average depth is 73′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 27 km (16.5 miles)
  • this 6 km long lake has rocky rubble and wooded shorelines as well as rocky outcroppings
  • the shorelines drop off quickly and provide extensive trolling opportunities
  • a public boat launch is located on the south end of the lake off of Brule Lake Road
  • major fish species include lake trout, smallmouth bass and yellow perch
  • Brule Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 18
