Big Clear Lake is located along County Road 15 adjacent to the village of Arden on the south side of Highway 7 in Frontenac County

the gradually sloping bays on the north and south end are largemouth bass and pike hangouts. Under water humps, rock piles and shoals as well as quick shoreline drop offs and points provide good structure for walleye, smallmouth bass and pike
a public sand gravel based boat launch is located off of County Road 15 on the west side of the lake
Big Clear Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 18
