  • Lake of Two Rivers is located on the south side of Hwy. 60 approx. 30 km east of the Algonquin Provincial Park western gate
  • co-ordinates: 45° 39′ Long. 78° 29′
  • the Madawaska River and its north branch flow into the lake on the west end and exits on the east side
  • look for smallmouth bass along the rocky shorelines, shoals and points. Try for trout near
  • the drop offs beside the inflows on the west end and the deep underwater hump on the east end
  • while the lake reaches depths of 125′, the average depth is 49′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 8.4 km (5.3 miles)
  • the surface area is 274 hectares (679 acres)
  • an access point is located at the Lake of Two Rivers campground
